Free login page customizer
Hardeep Asrani has developed the Custom Login Page Customizer, which you can use to create a custom sign-in page using your WordPress Customizer. This plugin is compatible with WordPress 5.0 and up. It also works with PHP version 6.7 and higher. You can download it free in US English and Swedish.
This app lets you preview all your changes to your WordPress site before saving them. Access the functionality from Appearance > Custom Login Page Customizer. Alternative options that you can download include BM Custom Login, LoginPress, and Birds Custom Login.
Why this tool?
There are many plugins you can use to create a custom sign-in page. Custom Login Page Customizer has the advantage that it integrates with the WordPress Customizer. Typically, the Customizer is only used when working with themes, but this plugin integrates with the Customizer to create a custom sign-in page without the need to edit CSS or HTML.
Thanks to the live preview feature, you see all changes as you work. This means you don’t need to switch tabs and refresh pages to see the results. It also saves you from struggling with challenging custom build options and control panels.
How to use
Install the tool from the WordPress plugin directory and access it from the Appearance tab. Click on ‘Start Customizing’ to launch the editor. Now, you can access the following options:
- Add a logo and a background image
- Change the background and the form background
- Adjust the form, field, and button styling
- Add CSS code for more control over the appearance of your sign-in page
Use the Save Draft button to save your changes or share a preview link with others to get their opinion of your page. When you are happy, publish your new sign-in page, or schedule it for posting in the future.

The latest version of this plugin applies some bug fixes. This includes fixes to the PHP error for the default logo height and the page deletion issue. The developer created an Uninstall.php to remove plugin options from DB and the Login Customizer Page when you want to remove the plugin.
